Why a personal website
Why keep a personal research homepage in the age of LinkedIn and Scholar.

A personal website is a small place with a useful job: make the right links easy to find.
LinkedIn is good for professional context. Scholar is good for citations. GitHub is good for code. A homepage can be the quiet index that joins those things together, adds a little taste, and keeps the writing editable.
The ambition here is modest: papers, notes, projects, and a few small tools that should not need a platform strategy to exist.
